Flus is a way worse coach and it is not even close. At least Donovan has done something as a head coach even if it was in college. And he can talk like a competent guy. Flus has done nothing and is a babbling fool

Players have developed under Eberflus's watch. The Bears have one of the better defenses in the league. The Bulls haven't improved in any way or developed a player. Some people lose the coaching touch earlier than others.

In an ideal world you demote Eberflus to DC when you hire Harbaugh and both partries are gracious, Harbaugh accepts Flus as DC and Flus accepts he's not a head coach in this league and agrees to be DC

i think eberflus gave up on fields and the offense as a whole. It's like he figured if the ship is going down, at least leave the team with a good defense. with donovan, its like he has closed door meetings with jerry where they both blame the players for everything.

but what lasting quality will donovan leave behind? it might sound like he talks competently, but that is the mark of a seasoned boss. eberflus talks with the same political background. it sounds great, but they really aren't saying shit. the players notice this crap. both of them cant help themselves.

at the end of the day, i honestly think you could swap the two guys and the teams would still perform exactly the same because theyre not in organizations that fit them anyway. If you gave donovan real all-star players, he would look like a great coach. If you gave Eberflus a real quarterback, the bears would be division leaders.

I will give Flus some credit for the improvement of the defense. especially with the addition of Sweat and the drafting of the new guys in the secondary.This will be a fun defense to watch next season

Do they though? They look great against bad qbs, but look at the rest of the results. Overall, Cousins (in Mid-October) was the only decent QB they held in check. Even the belief of recent improvement is a bit suspect considering 3 of their last 5 opponents have scored 24+ pts. The other 2 games were against Young and Dobbs.

The offense turned the ball over five times, and the Bears barely lost one of those games. The offense has been the problem. The defense forced nine turnovers in the past two games. I believe we've only scored 10 points off of those turnovers. Even shorthanded, we should have won all but the Chargers game because the defense was good. Despite the early season shit show, we're still 9th in total yards, and we have the best rushing defense in the NFL by a mile.

They definitely do not but I think they’re approaching average to slightly above average.

That’s pretty exciting given where they were last year.

The rushing defense is the best in the NFL. The overall defense is 9th in yards. I would call that above average. The pass defense is the biggest problem.

Teams run more when they're winning. That doesn't happen to the Bears because our run defense is the best in the league by a mile. What are your Packers #1 in?

They have only played against a few top QB's, and mostly bottom half rushing teams, but there does seem to be the makings of a decent secondary, especially after they launch Eddie Jackson, a solid group of linebackers, and defensive line that will be solid after they sign another DE to play opposite Sweat.

They run the ball well, if they just could develop a solid passing game....well that's what is holding this team back.
