It is going to take a long time just to clear the bridge from the river. They will be lucky to find someone who can engineer a new bridge. East coast shipping and supply chains are going to be a mess for quite a while. |

watching that bridge collapse reminded me of the first trade center building collapsing. there was more traffic prior to the collapse than i would think there would be at that time of night...but imagine being one of those drivers that just missed. |

Apparently the crew put in a mayday call about power loss and police had enough time to put up some type of road block to keep cars off the bridge. I think all the missing people/vehicles are from the construction crews that were on the bridge at the time. Still awful for them, but that's why there aren't random cars and trucks flying through the air into the water |

it looks intentional in the video, but the power loss kinda dispells that theory. pretty fucking wild. maybe letitia james rented a boat to pick up trumps properties? |

Its plainly visible in the videos.I'm not saying they had hours to set up an organized "road closed", but they were able to stop cars at the last second. That would explain why the construction crew didn't even have time to get off the bridge. https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1772640 ... 05604?s=20 |

They are clearly on their way to their local oasis frank and LTG would likely agree to fight on a bridge with the loser falling several hundred feet into the water |

I love my favorite facebook conspiracy theorist with this happening. Completely ignoring the logic of intentionally destroying a bridge at 1:30am when virtually no one is on it. |

Has mayor secretary ButtPlugg weighed in on this? I wonder if the bridge structure was inheritly racist and that is what caused the collapse |

To be fair to the conspiracists, actual deaths would probably be collateral damage to whoever would do this intentionally. The reason for doing it would be to cripple a large port on the east coast and traffic around Baltimore. https://www.axios.com/2024/03/26/baltim ... le-effects |

Glad all of these made so much money during COVID, they are going to need it now. Market was already very slow and now this. |

Maybe the captain thought the pillar would stop the ship? Nothing short of a mountain was going to stop that kind of mass. |

Six presumed dead. Captain says he turned the boat and dropped an anchor to slow speed and avoid hitting the bridge - the engine lost power. |
