If a restaurant you go to offers an app that you can order food and then walk in and pick it up, aren't you dumb for not using that? You like waiting 5 to 10 when you don't need to?

How many people so consumed with consuming have so many important things to do that they can’t afford to idle in a drive through for the 5 minutes they go between putting things in their mouth?

Oh a "I don't want my fast food to be fast" argument!

I’m driving 45 in a 30 while ordering on my phone too. Saving time and money.

No, no, no…you positioned the fast food app as an oasis of discounts in an inflationary desert. You don’t get to make the convenience argument, which only exists insofar as you’re conflating fast casual with fast food.

Plus, the time spent deal hunting across fast food apps in Biden’s America more than offsets the minutes saved waddling up to a counter.

If this is true, then LTG has no idea where to find these apps

Okay, a dollar then. Same shitty meal. Use that money you save to buy some vegetables.

Both can be true. It can be cheaper and faster.

I still don't understand your thought process on having to deal hunt among multiple apps. Pick what food you want to eat. Load up the app. Choose the deal that works for the food you planned to get anyways. Otherwise, don't do it and you'll pay more.

Honestly though, I think all these fast food companies have seen people paying an extra $12 for their product through doordash and they were like "Many of our customers are morons so why not charge them more?".

Why wouldn’t you just drink water with a multivitamin and save some money?

I don't think Antioch understands how any of these apps work.

Burger King is pretty generous with their app deals. Mondays I usually get a Whopper and every time I use a free large fry deal on their app.

now that we've banned junk food for the mind, these apps will be next to be pushed to sideloaded black market distribution. Congress -- cleaning up America one harmful app at a time.

This thread has turned into a despicable, personal attack on me by a Biden supporter and a communist.

Now I know how Kyle Rittenhouse felt.

the food apps are great for a few reasons

1. time. I can pull into a mobile spot at a busy place, type my order, hit send and i'm immediately at the front of the line as opposed to all the idiots lined up in the drive through or winding around the railings inside getting breathed on by stinky dudes with meat sweats.

2. deals. I know you all are ballers but my grandfather always said, "i didn't get rich by paying full price at mcdonalds" (he wasn't rich) as he whipped out a manila folder full of coupons. The apps run ridiculous deals. example, we were traveling and the only place in the middle of nowhere was a mcdonalds so we settled on it. i went to the app and there was a 40% off coupon. kids got to supersize their meals.

3 little kids and/or food allergies - orderign at a counter or over an intercom with kids ais a disaster usually especially if its like "no pickles" or whatever.

I have 12. but i would say outside of chickfila, i've only used any of them 1 or 2 times. chickfila our order is saved so its basically 2 clicked and ordered. we also only ever eat fast food when traveling basically and on sundays with my parents.

Because I actually want the nutrients instead of pissing them out with neon urine like after taking a multi.
