Why can't I stay logged in? That option isn't available anymore.

Is that how long it's going to take them to remember their passwords when they're automatically logged out?

That only applies to Hoffy.

When I'm president there will be no posting ID laws. These laws are used to infringe on your rights to post. I'll put an end to it my first day in office. You can take that to the bank.

bigfan,

Is the "no auto login" thing on purpose or was it a side-effect of some other change?

Possibly an anti-multing measure.

People log out of their mults and probably rely on auto-login to remember the password or whatever. Now...sadly, they may forget over time and bong hits thus making the mults fade away into the internet afterlife.

Or he makes three mouse clicks and deletes them himself.

The answer to my question must be vital to national security.

I would (falsely?) assume people would use the same passwords for their mults as they do their regular logins.

I guess that would make sense. It would probably shatter bigfan's world if somebody used the same password for 2 things on the interwebs.

But if you have auto-log in, doesn't it log you in automatically everytime you go on the page? So if you are on as yourself one day. The next day you open the page, you are logged on again as yourself? And IF you log out then log in w/ a troll, wouldn't that erase the auto log in from when you logged in as yourself?

Rick,

Have you used this password program? Pros/cons?
I've been using it for about 2 months. It basically just autofills your passwords in from your local machine and backs up an encrypted version to their server. It's more secure than simply trying to remember your passwords since most people can't remember too many difficult passwords so they end up having scorehead1 as the password.

The pro is that I can still have secure passwords but I don't have to remember them. You also can choose which websites it covers so if you really want to keep your banking or credit card stuff seperate you still can.

The con is that you have to remember your lastpass password though they can provide a hint for you.

It seems pretty legit. I have the free version and I have had no issues.
