I still went: baseball,football,basketball

I agree with others who can't stand to watch any other games besides the team they root for in baseball. The thing is,my love for the Cubs outweighs everything else.

Come to think of it, I've always watched more Basketball than Baseball. I do love Baseball, but I think that has more to do with playing than anything else. Playing is fun, watching on t.v. during the regular season is "meh".
I did watch about half of the WS games this year.

If money were not a consideration, which game would you most like to attend.

A baseball game on a beautiful summer day is like heaven...even a bad game.

So could I, but it seems that a lot of people who might consider themselves football fans first are also making sure to note that baseball games featuring their favorite team would trump football.

Anyway, I think declaring the "popularity" of one sport over another isn't as obvious as it may seem. That said, the NFL is better at marketing its televsion programs than probably any other entity that doesn't include Simon Cowell.

That's been my point all along. But I would suggest it would be exactly as popular. It just wouldn't have the same television ratings. It's apples and oranges.

I understand what you mean and you're correct, I don't see it that way. It's kind of a chicken and egg argument. If MLB were as capable as the NFL at marketing, I don't think it would make baseball more popular. Either you like it or you don't. As Darkside loves to point out, you don't have to attend games to be a fan, so why anyone would think you have to watch them on television at the same time to be a fan is anyone's guess.

Wow. Both of those ladies work in my office actually. The one with the hair...that's her "thing". She's very nice though. The one on the left was one of my fellow team members till I got promoted earlier this year.
