Either my synapses are firing tonight or Ive come up with the dumbest fucking idea ever. Now, despite the fact that we are all adults here ( ) sometimes as we've recently seen things can get like Africa hot in a matter of minutes and explode in a shower of insults and bannings. I think we can all agree that no one like to see that happen. My idea is that when it looks like things are headed that way that a poster can step in and institute a mandatory 1 hour cooling off period between the 2 ( or more) parties involved wherein they are not allowed to address the topic thats causing the issue or each other. Obviously theres no way to truly make that stop so you'll have to be on your honor that you'll adhere to the cooling off period. Maybe just a sticky with your name in it saying you'll do it if /when it happens. Any thoughts? improvements?
