Can we all agree the Bed Bath & Beyond joke from Old School has run its course? Seems like it's an overused 'joke.'

It still makes you laugh when someone says it?

Yes. Great movie line. But I have a sense of humor. So that may be just me.

Yes.

I don't think it is overused though. Are there people constantly quoting that to you?

It's all about the context. If someone is actually lamenting the horror of having to do stupid weekend activities with your significant other it is pretty funny. If someone is using it and then going home and playing video games and watching tv all weekend it loses the whole thing that makes it funny which is the subtle rage that comes from knowing that on your day off you'll be looking for a new toilet paper stand.

I don't think I have heard the Bed Bath and Beyond reference in over 5 years.

Agreed its about context

It was an abused line for a while. Not recently though.

Saw the movie. Don't remember the line. As previously mentioned by RPB, it can't be more overused than "You're my boy, Blue."

The whole scene is really great but I think the better lines are "It tastes so good when it hits your lips" and then a "You know it" when they start chanting Frank the Tank.

I love that he's holding a Wild Cherry Pepsi at the beginning of the scene

Last time I went, was a lost bet. We hit all the "FUN" places! Michaels Art Store, etc.

Its not so much the store, its the crowd and the ongoing contemplation of towels, shower curtains....ugh....ITS A TOWEL!

We went into a hat store in New Orleans and spent 2 hours! THEN DIDNT BUY ANYTHING!!!!!

'Honey, do you think KFC is still open' is perhaps one of the most underrated lines in comedy history IMO.

Can I get a reference point here? Line? Something?

Frank: I told my wife I wouldn't drink tonight. Besides, I got a big day tomorrow. You guys have a great time.
College Student: A big day? Doing what?
Frank: Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.
