Ten day free shipping with Amazon, and it ultimately comes from Kenosha (I live up by the Wis border now). I will drive there and save them the money, and save me the time of waiting an absurd amount of time, in 2016. I managed a warehouse around 2005 and everything we ordered, from pretty much every big etailer, was free 3-day. That was the trend until Amazon killed it with Prime. Not paying for shipping. Ever. |

I was watching a little league level game this weekend. Some kid bunted. Of course the fielders weren't prepared. His father/coach was beaming with pride over the bunt as if he had created some high baseball IQ rather than exploiting a lack of understanding of all aspects of the game due to being second graders. Great coaching. Let the kid hit. |

The funny thing is that the way it happened (stepped down right on the seam between walkway and bark/bushes), I would have done this the same way if I were 17, 27, or 37...
