You need to use your brush at least every 3-4 times. That stuff can not only mess up flavors but it can be a vector for all sorts of nasty shit.

I brush them every time I use them, and I let the heat burn the funk off the grates after the food is done cooking. His grill always looks brand new.

Yeah that is wrong, like putting your cast iron skillet in the dishwasher.

My wife SUCKS at making popcorn and coffee. She just hits that damn "Popcorn" button on the microwave and walks away. Inevitably, the popcorn has a few semi-burned kernels and most of it is dried out. I have told her- 2:10 and wait for the frequency of popping to just about end. It is better to have a couple more uncooked kernels with the rest of the popcorn being perfect than burned kernels and overcooked popcorn.

Why is it so hard to make coffee without getting grounds in the coffee? It happens to me maybe one time out of 100. It happens with my wife probably 10% of the time. Yesterday, she had grounds in the pot, ground on the outside of the plastic filter holder, and grounds on the inside of where the filter holder sits in the coffee maker. I literally had to bring the coffee maker to the sink to wash out the grounds from the top of the coffee maker. I asked her if she just puts a filter in and blindly dumps heapings off coffee into the top without making sure where it goes. She had no response.

Oh yeah, and she had a headache last night and went to bed early. She told me this when I was on my second Manhattan.

You fool; you could've turned this into an opportunity to learn to speak Spanish.

Nobody takes verbal cues anymore.

I mean, the phone call is over, everything's been addressed, go away. Even informal cues don't work. Considering just hanging up the phone without warning. As it is I've clipped a couple people today like they do sometimes on the radio.

I hate people.

Oh, so you're looking for that final push into talking yourself into hanging yourself then?

(how often do you see 'yourself' repeated three words apart anyway?)

I think my sunny disposition would change you rather than the opposite. We'd be dancing a jig on the bar by 10 pm

I don't think you're allowed to say that word in public anymore.

That's the way to go, if you meant drinking and not gay sex. With all due respect to cowboys and people from Tennessee, Irish whiskey is the shit. From what I recall.

There are two nights I cannot stomach, hell night and New year's eve. Every asshole in a hurry and thinks that they can drive drunk/high is out.

Exactly. It just defies logic that so many past college age still get so hyped for it.

They're my two biggest days I'm at my old man yells at cloud worst

I am also unhappy with the update. Even the square corners on the tabs have made me irrationally angry.
