I hope this was sincere. Losing a pet is awful.

I was so looking forward to seeing him next week end. Whenever one of us visits and uses the guest bedroom, he would sleep at the foot of the bed and greet you when you woke up. Great dog and a great watchdog too.

That's tough crest. We lost one of ours in Friday too. Pretty hard on the kids, that dog watched over them like a hawk. A 120 pound hawk.

10 inches of rain since Fri night and still coming down. Bridge washed out just south of town. Crazy stuff.

Moose was an Anatolian shepherd mix. Got him and his sister as guardian dogs for my wife's and kids critters on the farm. Dogs adopted my kids and wife during the day and terrorized coyotes at night. Moose would stand between any visitor and my wife while sister would position between kids and stranger. They were gentle giants though and really only had hate towards raccoons, skunks and coyotes. That being said the sound of them thundering across the yard growling at 3am was a bit unnerving until they realized it was friend and not foe.

Not at our place. It has finally stopped rainning.

a diva bachelor is far worse than a diva bachelorette.

we live in the 3rd largest city in USA and yet my buddy held his bachelor party in austin, tx.

plane ticket, house rental, catered bbq, boat rental, top golf, steakhouse outing, groceries, etc and i'm out roughly 1K.


my fault for agreeing to go. but this is a guy who had to be talked out of dis-inviting a guy from the wedding by his fiancee because he couldn't make the bachelor party...

In a more desperate point in my life, I discovered that yogurt even six weeks past its expiration date is likely edible. As is the case with so many other things in life, you can tell by the smell...

This really has gotten to be a thing. A young couple I know are getting married this fall. Ladies bachelorette trip to Chicago and guys to Vegas. It all seems a lot to ask of your people if you ask me.

Seriously, when did this become a thing? The only time a traveled for a bachelor party was last summer to Wisconsin, but that was to the groom's uncle's lake house so costs were reasonable.

And Kirkwood is correct. Everything he listed can be done in this city, some of which are probably done better here than Austin.
