Just had two little fuckers try to scam me out of $5 while sitting in my driveway.

So I am sitting in my boat messing around with baits. Two teenagers come up and ask "Would you like to support the Andrew HS Bass Fishing team by buying a coupon book for $5?" I ask them when and where their next tournament is. They said Lake Saskatchewan on November 5th. No and No. What baits do you like to use? Minnows was their reply. No- live bait is not allowed in bass tournaments. Getting skeptical, I ask to see their coupon book and it is a Carson's Booklet of coupons from the mail.

I was going to support the team too.

Not a complaint, but for thread consistency, somebody else saw the threat to kill multiple people in the community and called the police (not me), the police have politely asked him to remove it.

It's really difficult to not just light up people on Facebook. I've only recently started reading.

I feel like this place has trained me well how to respond to people online. Be careful how you word things and be prepared to respond.

Facebook feels like AA baseball compared to here.

But, even so, I can't. Like a guy that retired for no reason.

This place keeps one sharp. I find myself overmatching people at work, bars, and in Clash chat. My adversaries are floored verbally before they knew what hit them. Around here, I am a lamb for the slaughtering.

You know .... has anyone ever thought about changing the clock back an hour going into Monday morning instead? There'd have to be MANY more people who would get some benefit from that. It'd be one of the best Mondays of the year every year. You can still lose the hour going into a Sunday though.

OR, you know, scrap the whole thing and make DST the norm year-round.
