BRick is fairly consistent in his thoughts. Even when I disagree with him I always understand the point he's making. He takes a lot of incoming fire from just about every poster but rarely returns it. Very underrated poster.

My own read on Leash lately (and I have not personally communicated with him about it in a while) is he is genuine in his feelings even if the delivery seems to be a over the top bit.

Maybe it is hard to do here but I thought he was trying to encourage or maybe even save the ability to have and discuss alternate points of view. Sometimes on tough issues that is a tough job.

In many instances he was just as guilty of being closed minded as the people he criticized. Each topic invariably ended in "because you don't agree with it" or "I will be considered a racist". Those are tactics designed to stifle discussions and that doesn't even get to his rampant use of generalizations where they hadn't previously been used.

Rather than making presumptions about what people might be thinking simply respond to what it is that they happen to say.

I always had trouble dissecting when he was being serious and when he wasn't. Leash has always enjoyed hard trolling by acting super serious just to rile people up. In real life, Leash is a reasonable guy, so I have to think he is just trying to create "content" around here.

He is pushing very specific buttons and even got after me for not being argumentative. He enjoys needling at people. If I needed help from someone on this board, he would be one of the first five calls I made. And most of you folks are very good individuals despite all our differences and board fights.

BRick is right too in that Trump has brought out a lot of extremes and raw emotions. I have had a few real life people get mad at me for being so anti-Trump.
