Yes

Quote:
Reinhold was given the lead in Vice Versa (1988). Vice Versa flopped. "That was really the end of my highfalutin Hollywood career," Reinhold said later. "That's when the phone stopped ringing." He also developed a reputation for being difficult on set. "I was spoiled, and I was arrogant," said Reinhold of this period later. "I was very demanding, had an overblown image of who I was and got a reputation for being difficult. And rightfully so."[5]

Do you like him coming here just to advertise a shitty podcast?

The internet has a pretty widely accepted, unwritten rule that you don't try to hawk your shitty podcasts, twitch streams and youtube channels on forums and social media. It is just...sad.

I honestly don't give a shit. At least he's not spamming the board like Spada was.

I'm amused by you getting so worked up over little shit.

You need to relax.

Coming from a bowler, I find it hilarious that you criticize unwritten rules. Bowling lane etiquette snobs are the fucking worst.

Funny, but lane etiquette is an actual written rule.

Hmmm, I was skeptical about it being in the rules. Maybe this is the rule you refer to:

17.4
Lane Courtesy and Double Jumping

Competitors must observe one (1) pair lane courtesy at
all times. Competitors may not "Double Jump." Double jumping occurs following a delivery when a
competitor on the same pair delivers his or her ball before one (1) competitor from the pair to the right and
one
(1) competitor from the pair to the left have made a delivery, unless those competitors are not ready
to bowl or they give way

That's the PBA rulebook....I've never heard of that one, quite honestly. I know in last year's USBC rulebook (governs the amateur bowlers in leagues/tournaments) there is reference to a 1 lane given courtesy. Leagues can amend it in their own written rules (my Tuesday league has a 2 lane courtesy, which is fucking stupid, but whatever).

What our little friend IMU is probably thinking of his when he and the rest of his bronies are acting like jags on the lanes during open play and someone gives them a dirty look or something...whatever.

I don't bowl in leagues. But at 'name your bowling alley' you can always tell who the regulars are, and those regulars do everything they can to tell you they don't want you there without walking up and telling you they don't want you there. If you're there with a 3 year old kid? They get pissed off that you bring that metal tube ball roller over near their lane. They get pissed that the kid takes a little longer to roll his ball. They want you to observe a (2) lane buffer when people are bowling. So whatever rules they want to impose...I didn't sign up for those. I'm following the lanes' small rule list posted ...get out of my face.

Those types are complete jags...they piss me off, too. It's even worse to be in a league with some of them.

Cosmic bowling was the beginning of the end. I don't need black lights and strobe lights and club music assaulting my ears.

Cosmic bowling sucks.

I always practice lane courtesy, even if its a busy weekend. When I bowled in leagues, I tried not to let the side movements bother me because ultimately I was the one doing the rolling. Its the same thing in golf, though a sudden noise can bother me much more so swinging a club than dropping a rock.

I do try to avoid bowling at the same time the lanes to my sides are, but when there are kids under a certain age, that goes out the window. And I don't let it bother me. And no one else should let it bother them as well.

League bowlers casually bowling still treat it like it like an actual game, instead of 'BP.' These same people probably ask everyone near them to shut up at the driving range too.

Cosmic Bowling was the drizzling shits...man I used to work at Brunswick in Palatine when we were the only house in the area that had it...it was elbows to assholes every fucking Saturday...I especially loved the fun of mopping up drunken trixie puke at midnight on a Saturday in the dark...good times.

That's fair. Well, the 'unwritten rule' types then. It is good to know some bowlers are annoyed with them as well.
