Moment of silence for Peter Boyle.

Thank you very much.

I loved this guy's work and his style. A few memorable roles (maybe not his most notable) were "Where The Buffalo Roam", "The Dream Team" and "Taxi Driver". Too many others to mention.

I always liked him on Everyone Loves Raymond. I know he played lots of things, but he totally reminded me of my dad with the way he handled mom.

Peter Boyle trivia:

-He was best friends with John Lennon, and Lennon was Best Man in his wedding.

-He turned down the lead role in The French Connection.

his role in "Joe" set the tone for his career. brilliant stuff.

loved him in "where buffalo roam" and "young frankenstein" (puttin on the ritz is one of the most lived-up-to-the-talk-and-hype scenes of all time. as funny as advertised.)

i also liked him a lot as bruckman as well, though i was also a huge x-files fan at that time too. the guy who wrote the episode was one of my favorite writers in TV at the time.

I can't believe his work in "The Santa Clause" series is being over-looked here...
