Have not and would really like to. Would Blockbuster carry that? When I worked at amazon.com I saw it all the time but didn't know what kind of circulation it got outside of that. I somehow doubt BB would have it.

I doubt it. My roommate got it via Netflix, which is how I saw it. It's big-time ridiculous.

I guess I'll go ahead and give my two cents...

Since i'm of the belief that movies need aging before being put in any list (EW certainly doesn't follow that logic), i'm not including any movies that have come out in the last five years, but these are movies throughout the decades that still hold up. we'll see if some of the newer ones ("borat", "napoleon dynamite") hold up in time...

Zack, that Caddyshack warrants only an honorable mention in your world is a sin against humanity. That movie has held up for 25 years, and will hold up for another 25. Terrible oversight on your part.

Airplane would probably at or near the top of my list. I'd have to think it through. Stripes would be right there as well.

Sorry to disappoint you. But this was the top 10, and I don't think shack belongs compared to some of the other movies though it's one of Bill Murray's best performances ever.

I haven't seen Dumb and Dumber mentioned yet. I bust out laughing every time I see the scene where Jeff Daniels winds up and nails Lauren Holly in the face with a snowball from about three feet away.

I don't typically consider When Harry Met Sally a flat out comedy but it was on the 100 list so if it qualifies it would be in my top 10.

Roxanne had some really clever moments - a couple of my favorites being his rant on irony "oh, we don't get that here" / "i got tired of people looking at me funny" and one of my favorite toasts (which I still use) "I'd rather be here drinking with the people of this town than with the finest people in the world."

My favorite is when Daniels winds up and smokes Jim Carrey on the back of the legs with his cane...defintely have to re-watch that part 3 or 4 times before I can continue watching the movie...

Noisewater, thank you for mentioning my favorite movie of all time, Ghostbusters. Bill Murray was brilliant and there wasn't a cast member in that movie who didn't nail their role.

As an aside, I read that Eddie Murphy (in his prime) was the first man considered for the role of Winston, the black Ghostbuster but he was under an exclusive deal with Paramount and was already working on Beverly Hills Cop. How cool would that shit have been?

I mentioned "Borat" as an up and comer...it was one of the funniest movies i've seen in a while but i like to give movies time before putting them "up there".

I haven't seen any mention of Johnny Dangerously. How can you go wrong with Micheal Keaton and Dick Butkus, my friends.
Also Private Resort starring a young Johnny Depp and many other names you would recognize. I haven't seen it in years but I think it would hold up well.
Neither are top ten material. But both are rarely seen and very funny.
