I still enjoy the showes because I enjoy the acting and think the individual episodes are always written well. But the show has obviously failed as a coherent narrative since the principal "mysteries" of the show seem to undergo constant reinvention. As for the season finale, while I wasn't surprised by any of the "twists", I was still entertained.
