You know what they say... In the game of life, women are the fucking rake. Yeah, the fucking rake.

Rounders, Norton is the best in that movie, Damon is solid as usual though the writing makes the script way too unbeliavable for any pro poker player to buy completely.

I still get that lone tear in my eye when Morgan Freeman sees the beach.

No doubt. I still feel that has to be one of the most underappreciated movies ever.

Full Disclosure:My supplemental income comes from poker. Basically I am semi-pro, never have been able to make enough to live off entirely but adds an extra $600-800 a month doing it.

Quite possibly the greatest movie ending ever. For my next movie I am deciding between Good Will Hunting(another movie I have seen probably 100 times) or Almost Famous(another movie I have seen 100+ times but was reminded of by Mac in the MJH threads).

The only thing that pisses me off is people who keep quoting malkovich/kgb lines when your playing poker. Its just like people who quote the big lebowski during bowling.

Agreed, it was so well setup when you think Freeman is going to buy the farm and then the scene by the tree. I would go Almost Famous, but its mostly a personal thing.

Sounds like we have similar tastes in movies. If you love Good Will Hunting also I will think you have stalked me KS-style to retrieve this information.

I haven't seen that in AGES. Was that made by the same guys who did Kentucky Fried Movie?

In the same vein I would like to see UHF and I'm gonna Get You Sucka again. You know, the gag film is largly overlooked. It's a shame cause everyone loves those movies.

The Robin Williams/Matt Damon in the park by the lake scene, the Matt Damon "Of course thats your contention, you're a first year grad student" scene, and the Matt Damon/Ben Affleck "I dont know much, but I know that" scenes are among my favorite in movie history.

I never did see UHF (that's Weird Al right?), but Gonna Get You Sucka is another great one.
If you like the gag film (wait for someone to seize upon that pun opportunity), try Noises Off. That still makes my sides hurt. Slow first half hour and then... Good Lord.

UHF is good. I remember quoting this movie consistently for a good few years, but over time I had to be drinky to watch it. Related, I was watching Airplane 2 last night, damned funny.

"Reservoir Dogs" is up there. "The Sting". The ending to "Glory" still makes me blubber like a baby.
