I think people were hoping they would fix it when word got out they were doing re-shoots. Fleabag tested badly so it seemed obvious what the problem was but it seems they re-shot the ending instead which is a mess. Disney are so dumb. Their expensive movie is going to get hit with bad reviews for a month because they thought it would do well at Cannes.

I did watch Willow. Watching the little person run around and blast people with his flamethrower was entertaining. The show was terrible though...one of the worst I've ever seen. They spent some money on this show then pulling it 6 months later...oof.

This looked like a terrible idea. It should of been a cheaper one day experience with the Star Wars characters people liked. That's another billion dollars down the drain. They didn't even tell the employees before they made public announcement.

The first I heard of it was the closing. I think it's a good idea but the execution is poor. A day experience or reservation type things for dinner or drink at the cantina might have helped. Like different levels of time and money commitment. We'd plunk down $500 or 600 for a few hour lightsaber experience or Jedi training especially when the kids were smaller. The Star Wars stuff there was really cool and I wish the ride or experiences were longer. $6000 for a 2 night experiences is too much though, it's tacked on to an already expensive Disney vacation. Most people can't do it and some of the ones that can don't want to.

The problem is that it was cheaper to stay in the nicest resort in all of Disney World than it was to stay there. We probably would have done it but what is the point in paying double or triple in a place where you are doing it wrong if you aren't at the parks for at least 8 hours in the day anyways and sleeping another 8 or 9 hours a day.

They've got fights breaking out at Little Mermaid and now this...oof. I wonder if people off to side refused and said they'd wait for a girl attendant. They probably have 5,000 employees at the park if not more and this is where they put this guy? Families can go to Universal or Knott's or Legoland or Magic Mountain and not have to worry about this bullshit.

If Nick with a mustache can be a Fairy Godmother Apprentice, my old 5'0" fat ass could now be a real princess. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo indeed.

Add Pixar to the list of things Disney has killed off along with Star Wars and Marvel. They must know the new Pixar movie coming out next week is going to tank. It doesn't even look like they're doing any marketing for it.

I don't see how Kennedy keeps her job after this one. Fleabag is on her. This is a disaster. They need to make close to a billion to break even and they aren't going to come close.

He said Crystal Skull hurt the legacy of Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford called him a "f**king idiot" so they killed him off.

They needed a good first week because they aren't going to make anything week 2 when word gets out what they did if the plot that was leaked is right. They showed it at Cannes and the reviewers singled out Fleabag so I have to think the leak is accurate.

Fleabag is awesome, but why is she in an Indiana Jones movie?

Crystal Skull ended any kind of loyalty I had to that franchise. Maybe I'll take my dad.

A Pixar movie only doing 35 million in 2023 dollars...oof. The production budget was 200 and who knows what marketing budget was. It doesn't seem like they went crazy on marketing for this one. They must have known it was going to be a loser. Disney just knocking it out of the park.

Its pretty amazing the way a lot of the media shills for Disney. Trying to blame it on the pandemic is pretty funny. I guess they didn't hear about Mario Bros. or Puss n Boots.

Disney in a gigantic rut right now. It’s like the 70s/80s when they produced nothing worth watching.

I wasn't paying any attention to Disney until around 6 months ago when I got a letter from a fund I'm in saying they were reducing holdings in Disney and explained why. I was curious and started looking into it myself and I was stunned at how poorly they're doing and nobody was talking about it and still aren't for the most part. They are on fire right now. It really is unbelievable how much money they've lost and how much money they are going to lose. That may not even be worst part they've done a lot of damage to their brand.

They got lazy with the Marvel stuff. They were printing cash pre-Endgame.

I don't know if I'd call it laziness I think its a lot more complicated. Its not just Marvel everything they've touched is on fire. They have a LucasFilm project coming out in 2 weeks that will probably be the biggest flop in history. Indiana Jones 5 is probably the most expensive movie ever made and its looking at a 60 million dollar opening. That one is going to leave a mark. Somebody is getting fired.

Supposedly the original script was that indy traveled back in time and was born as a woman. That sounds brilliant. I can't imagine why fans wouldn't like this.

Raiders might be one of my favorite movies of all time. And I love last crusade too. Just great movies. The refrigerator movie doesn't exist to me. I'll say I've easy seen raiders maybe 40 times. Maybe more. I have no interest in reborn in a woman's body indy Jones movie. None. Fuck Disney. Fuck what you've done to this franchise.

Iger's deal with the board was to save 5.5 billion this year. That's why they laid off 8,000 people and closed their Star Wars hotel. I wonder if their projections included billions in losses in movies and streaming. I doubt it.

Yep, Raiders is as close to perfect as a movie can be.
