Finally saw it. Thought it was good. The only issues I had had to do w/ the horrendous editing (Zack Snyder is a horrible movie maker) and Jesse Eisenberg. I thought he played a great Joker, but turns out he was Lex Luthor. Could've fooled me. They should've followed Marvel's path & did some solo flicks before the team-up. Now they're trying to introduce Batman & WW and have a Supes sequel in one movie. It's really 5 hours of movie squeezed into a 2.5 hr. bag.

Still, I wasn't bored once. I liked everyone in their roles & it did have a good story. Too bad Snyder tells it like a 8 year old.

I thought it was pretty good and could have been very good if not for the horrible acting. Affleck and whoever the dumb fuck that played Superman is made this movie much worse than it should have been. Terrible casting.

Maggie and Negan play Bruce Wayne's parents in this movie. That's kinda odd/cool.

I saw this. I enjoyed it. Good but not great.

Wonder Woman's presence was irrelevant to this movie. I'm fine with wanting to introduce her for future films but give her some substance. They introduced Aquaman like some sea dwelling hippie.

I hate Jesse Eisenberg and I think you should too. I cannot think of a role he has had where I didn't want to reach through the screen and punch him. I guess it is fine to be aloof and play a person who thinks he is smarter than everyone else when you are playing the part of Zuckerberg. When you do it in every role, it starts to reveal something about the actor's true character. Eat of bag of dicks, Jesse. Lex Luther went from genius supervillian to entitled trust fund psycho under Jesse's watch.

I both love and hate Affleck. I think he is charismatic. At the same time it annoys me when he runs his hands through his fake hair and when he roids up.

Was it really necessary to show Amy Adams tits in a movie you know is going to be seen by millions of children?

The one real problem I had with the movie is, after spending hours of time and training to kill Superman, Batman gives it up just because Superman loves his mother. Hitler loved his mother.

Despite these issues, I was entertained.

Agree on Eisenberg! The best Luthor I have seen was played by Michael Rosenthal on Smallville. He played Luthor as both diabolical & smart with some endearing qualities.

Eisenberg looks too young to play Luthor or any villain, really.

I saw it and liked it just fine. Most surprising was how 'easily' I finally accepted Affleck as an aging Bruce Wayne ... made it easier to think of it that way than thinking of him as Batman ... it's some minor mental gymnastics but it works for me.

I think it's pretty funny how many folks are shitting bricks over Batman outright killing some folks. Batman used to not have the slightest problems mowing pricks down with guns well before the canonization of the idea that guns and being the direct cause of people's death are anathema. Besides, they have to separate themselves from Marvel's movies as best they can ... grittier plots and visuals and people getting killed is a pretty easy way to do that. It's not like R-rated movies aren't unprofitable (Blade was doing it long before Deadpool showed up, not to mention Spawn ... there's probably a few others but those come immediately to mind).

Anyway, I liked it, so eat me.

I hope Suicide Squad doesn't suck out loud. I can't get a real feel for it either way.

I am not sure how true this is but I heard on some morning news show yesterday there isn't good word of mouth. Something about this movie having a really huge drop off in box office from week 1 to 2.

One thing I forgot to add is that Holly Hunter is pretty much unrecognizable because of plastic surgery. She has always been a fantastic and underrated actress. However, it seems like she has had body issues pretty much since The Piano. She did that thing that is so popular with suburban housewives these days where she over exercised her arm muscles so that she had bulging arm muscles on an otherwise petite body. Now she has gone through the gaining starlet thing of getting bad plastic surgery.

I didn't realize it was her until I noticed the voice and the good acting. I wish she would have aged gracefully.

The trailer for Suicide Squad, which is supposed to "fix" things, looks like a disjointed mess.

The extended edition improved the film immensely.

That fight scene between Batman and the 15 Lex Luthor henchmen is without a doubt one of the best choreographed fight scenes of 2016. #fuckthehaters

I agree. Still the last two Captain America movies, every fight scene was some of the best I've seen in recent movies.

It’s my birthday, and my wife asked me what I want to watch.

I said Batman vs. Superman: Director’s cut/ultimate edition

I am a nerd.

I never realized that both their mothers shared the same first name until this movie.

Yeah that 3 hour cut is much much better than what I saw in theaters almost 5 years ago.
