That’s a shame. Iirc it gets a lot better after the first few episodes. Vic, Shane, and Lem are all awesome characters.

I would say get to Season 2 at the least.

It’s one of the few shows that just progressively gets better. I won’t spoil anything but it’s got, for my money, one of the saddest deaths in a show ever.

true. i finished a rewatch a couple months ago. used it ending as a reason to start Deadwood again

Ok I just watched the first couple episodes. Does it get better ? Not that it’s bad but it’s certainly not all that.

THe first season is a little slow. They hit their stride in season 2.

Yes. The first season is good but not great but the world expands greatly starting with season 2.

Season 1 was basically a crime of the week story until towards the end of the season. Pretty good but not nearly the character stories to come when they figured out Boyd needed to be more involved.

Season 2 is when they brought the story together about the community and ran it through to the end.

Yeah the main problem with season 1 is they had not figured out Boyds role yet. Once they do the show takes off

Natalie Zea might have one of the sexiest bodies ever.

also, to another point id forgotten prior to my rewatch, i love the carousel of Deadwood actors that show up throughout the show. Just a guy and his buddies having all sorts of fun.

Just finished Season 3 . Jeremy Davies should’ve won an Emmy for the Dickie Bennett role . Season 4 can’t be good if uberdouche Patton Oswalt is in it .

I only knew him from Major League 3: Back to the minors so it was kind of a trip seeing how much he evolved. I was also entertained seeing Bubba as the butcher.
