I think so. They conveniently covered up the name on his DaVinci drawing. They showed Dolores' name. And then Theresa asked something about "so is this what happened to Arnold?"

I also saw someone speculate on the picture they showed him of Arnold was of 2 guys off-center with room for another person on the right. We saw the picture from his POV so he may have been blocking out himself in the picture in the ol' "that doesn't look like anything to me" business.

I'm not so sure it did. It seems to me that Delos wants to use Ford's technology for greater, perhaps nefarious, purposes and Ford is standing in the way by insisting that its usage remain confined to the park.

I do think FavreFan's idea that Ford might be Arnold's original robot and he killed Arnold and took over the park might have some merit.

I really want to know what Delos' plan for Westworld is. Ford seemed upset when Theresa accused him of playing God, and in turn said it was Delos trying to play God. Hopkins has been so good on this show. The way he can go from affable and charming to menacing within a scene is awesome. Definitely one of the best episodes this season.

so who's gonna be recruited for Maeve's jail break gang? Hector for sure. I wonder who else she'll use. I'm guessing people from Hector's gang that comes to town every day and shoots everything up till a tourist comes by and shoots them all dead. Finally, did Bernard flash on himself choking Elsie? That doesn't really make much sense. Why would Ford want to kill her for discovering that Theresa was smuggling data out of the park? I would think he'd want to give her a raise. But maybe Elsie was a host too.

So, then he came up with the plan to rape Dolores and tell her something to trigger her to go back on the trail that William(MiB) and she went on 30 years ago. So, we are seeing their journey 30 years ago and she is "flashing" to the present timeline where she is alone and everything is different. Or something.

That is the greeter.

I was confused by this at first, but I think I understand what you mean. Dolores is presently retracing her steps from that journey and she is alone. When we see her with William, she's flashing back to thirty years ago. That's why a couple episodes back when they first boarded the train with Lawrence there was a shot of Dolores all by herself when William and Lawrence should have been in the frame. That could make sense.

I don't know. I think that's what I'm watching. That would mean, if I saw things correctly, that the town that she apparently shot up (probably under Arnold's order) would have had to have been buried as early as 30 years ago because that's where William and she are.

So, she shoots up the town. Somehow Dolores is spared. Ford kills Arnold, creates Bernard (maybe), redoes all the 'bots in about 3 years, buries the town, and reopens the park for Logan and William to look at investment opportunities. Ford is pissed at her and puts her in an endless parent murdered rape loop as a punishment.

But, who the fuck knows.

I'm still not buying the theory that William is 30 years ago. Why would the town be buried 30 years ago? How old is this park? I thought it was only around 30-35 years old. William and Logan HAVE to be in the present, there's no way it makes any sense otherwise.

I think William and MIB are both from the present. MIB can't be from the past since he met up with old man Ford at a bar. William can't be MIB because William knows about the maze whereas MIB just learned about it. I don't think William is from the past because the church steeple is burned and the town is buried when he gets there.

What evidence has there been that William and MIB are from different time lines? If its out there, I've missed it. Which wouldn't be crazy cause this show is nuts.

I'm not sold on Felix and the other tech being robots just cause he was able to heal him with that gun thingie. Its the future, that could be how people are healed. Remember, they're made of the same material as humans so if it fixed an android it could also heal a human.
