It's a brutal horror western with Kurt Russell and a handful of ppl from Fargo. It's on Amazon streaming.

I saw this over the winter, and that one scene... Fuck, why'd you remind me of that? One of the most brutal deaths I've ever seen in a movie.

Not a bad film either, but not great.

Just saw this on Amazon. Quality Western, in an era where we don't see too many anymore.

The gore wasn't so bad - especially if you have see Green Inferno - but it fits right in with the recent trend towards horror-everything.

Very good actors, very good acting. Mathhew Fox from Party of Five fame was particularly good, as were Kurt Russell, Richard Jenkins, Patrick Wilson, and even David Arquette. You really feel Wilson's injury. This is a very stark and real portrayal of frontier life.

It was nice seeing classic horror staple Sid Haig in one of his final roles as well.

I give it a solid 3.5 out of 4 stars. It couldn't have delivered much better than it did. The doctor-wife was hot as shit as well. Lilli Simmons. Very pretty lady.
