This movie looks like Oscar material. Keaton even sounds like Kroc.

I'm interested. Hopefully, Keaton gets the Oscar he was blatantly robbed of 2 years ago.

Troof. 'cept the Hollywood l33t doesn't like that Keaton won't play their game. Lives in Montana or some shit and gives the press the cold-shoulder.

I'm in on this. I'll go see most things Keaton does.

Saw this over the weekend and it was very interesting. I always grew up thinking that Kroc was the actual founder of McDonalds but
the true story behind the empire is so much more interesting. Good acting by Keaton as well as some good makeup to age him a bit.

Good movie. Might make you not want to eat at McDonald's again (if you already don't). Ray Kroc was stone cold. Put him up their with Gecko and Lawrence Garfield.

It seemed disjointed. Seems like the end was rushed. Feels like they spent more time with him failing to sell milkshake mixers than his triumph and new marriage.

Damn good movie. Michael Keaton killed it. On Netflix.

Spoilers :

Too bad the brothers got screwed over.

Kroc a lifelong Cubs fan bought the Sd Padres. The same team who beat the Cubs in 84.

That movie where he makes two copies of himself and one of the copies makes a copy of the other one is a good movie. And it has that actress from the haircare commercials... Angie McGowan.

Saw this last night. Didn't realize Kroc was such a douche. He really didn't have any original ideas. The McDonald brothers created the Speedee system, wanted to maintain quality while Kroc wanted to use the insta-mix shakes (and I'm sure frozen patties), and it was the Jewish accountant who suggested he start buying the land for all the stores. The only thing I give him credit for is realizing that it was better having franchisees who would be hands on vs rich investors who didn't get involved.

The fact that he stole the guy's wife, fucked the brothers out of their 1% royalties, and even forced them out of their original store really makes me want to avoid McD even more than I do now.

At the start of the movie i thought the movie would be a mcd lovefest signed off by mcd corporate.

but it was good to see the real kroc. i never knew he was such a sleezeball as well. all i remember about him was positive things when i was a kid and how he was a chicago guy.

i guess he was your true businessman stealing others ideas and making millions out of them.

And he stole the other guys wife. But she blew most of his fortune after he died on charity's if I remember right.

Good flick. Outstanding acting by Keaton, as usual.
