I agree WZ. The last few seasons have seen the direction and cinematography step up many levels from the previous seasons.

It's one of the reasons I don't want to see the show end any time soon.

They've finally locked down every aspect of the show.

oh and ondemand continues to be a bitch: only offering like 5 of the 9 episodes. lame.

Just finished Season 3; favorite episode was Ghostfacers. Jesus, does Lauren Cohan look great.

Very very good episode after the winter break so far.

yeah that was quality through and through. It sets up the arcs nicely for the rest of the season. What do you think the book said?

I’m sure it says he’s gotta kill some people close to him.

I'd guess that it either says he has to kill himself or do something related to pappy/John. maybe he has some guilt over thinking his dad was/is in he'll because of him and dealing with that allows him to strengthen his cage/freezer?

Also pretty boy Jack's actually been given something to.do via evidently becoming a ticking time bomb before he uses up his soul and then has to team up with Mitch pileggi to fight monsters, as that's what you do when you're soulless in SPN. I'd guess that as he loses his soul he's gonna end up doing something to restore Lucifer to help him.with his plans.of.world/multiverse domination.

s1-13 are; they wait until the season is done before putting it on their (non-netlix originals). Hulu I think is the main service who upload some series episodes a day or two after they air.

really? i haven't checked hulu yet for season 14 but CW is pissing me off with this shit. we haven't been able to watch past episode 5 because they're not available on demand, and now amazon prime (which originally was charging for the season) has dropped it (it says it's unavailable) after episode 3 i think.

I was going to tell you to download the cw app, but they have eps 8, 9, and 10. I don’t see 6 or 7.

Might have to torrent a couple episodes.

I'm pretty sure they've got these episodes on the CW app, or at least that's how I've caught episodes after their original airing for the last year or two. They probably want all the traffic/views on their own platform so they're shitting on the third party stuff.

The article mentions the different conventions they do. There is one in Chicago in a couple weeks that I looked into because my wife has always been a big fan of the show. You could easily spend a couple thousand for 2 people to go and do some of the better "side" events.

15 seasons is definitely enough, and given that this season has been a bit clunky, i think it's time to end it.

we've been going back and re-watching the entire series. we're up to season 8 now. it really is an entertaining show, but it definitely repeats itself. that's pretty inevitable for a show as long-running as this.

we won't be able to make the con this year but for its' final season, i am definitely down for doing it next year. it's going to be an emotional ending for everyone too. they really are like family.

yeah when you literally go up against God's (older?) sister in Season 12 and she's kicking God's ass around and whatnot, it's kinda hard to come back and be like "yeah so there's these british men of letters and they're really dicks." I thought they might try to delve into some kind of BMoL = Illuminati storyline and have the upper echelon of them be some kind of power usurping demigods who secretly rule the world, but I suppose human demigods are kinda pointless when you have archangels from another dimension/reality who never got nerfed like the proper universe's angels did.

When you write yourself into a corner like that, obviously, Lucifer eventually becomes Rick Springfield before jumping into the president and fathering a kid who's suddenly the most powerful piece on the board cuz [reasons] and then you use that to open up another dimension/reality where you can bring back old favorites like Bobby and (whoever else) to occasionally spice things up as needed as you continue the long walk to forever... Or 15 seasons, evidently.

It’s def repetitive, but once you get numb to that you can sit back and rely on being entertained most episodes.

TNT replaying the whole series in order week after week has to be a major reason the fan following is what it is. I know that’s how I got hooked. I also find when I go back and watch a season again I’m appreciating it more the second or third time around. Idk it’s weird.

I have to admit, that last shot of Jack coming out of the smoke was badass. Probably the best moment of the season.

Easily one of the best supernatural season finales of all time.

I knew that dude was gonna be the final boss.

it seemed like some kind of angsty emo forced heel turn, but when even he's joking about the British men of letters you know they had to up the stakes for season 15.

i had a feeling they'd go with god as the final "villain" but they really rushed the decision of dean deciding to sacrifice his life to kill jack. usually in past seasons that decision would take 6-8 episodes to sink in.

the last shot of hell opening up was great, but that's not really how the apocalypse is said to start.

and i was expecting the zombies to suddenly start a "thriller dance".
