Enjoying Punisher. Not like the typical Marvel shows on Netflix. Pretty dark and deals with a lot of PTSD issues. Only thing I don't like is the way Frank Castle can get beaten up to the brink of death and a couple days later out doing his thing again. Wolverine would even need a breather after the beating he has received in these episodes. Otherwise a solid story and action series.

6 episodes into 'Mindhunter'. Great stuff if you're into psychology, good acting, and detective work.

Loved Godless. Also loved it was a limited series.

Working on "Easy", which is decent so far.

There is a new series premiering today called Worm Wood.
Errol Morris and Peter Sarsgaard are involved.
Looks like I'm skipping Live PD tonight....

Alias Grace was pretty good.

I don't know if it's on Netflix, but it's on Showtime right now and I didn't want to start a new thread.
An of you dorks who like the band Rush, there's a doc called Rush: Time Stand Still that's pretty good.

Started Longmire recently. Enjoying it.

Someone suggested Hell on Wheels to me as well. Anyone watched that?

Worth a watch for the first couple seasons. Main story is pretty much over after the third season. Everything after that was bad, like they didn't originally think the story would go more then three seasons.

One of the most disturbing comics in Marvel history was the Massacre at the no name bar. Marvel has about 30 low level bad guys in a bar. A mystery man guns them all down killing them all. Turns out to be The Punisher.

Crown season 2 is great, no surprise there. One of the best shows on TV.

Started watching Godless, it's pretty good a few eps in.

They have a scene like that in the series where he goes into a bar and kills a bunch of thugs. It's dark, but not in the same self loathing way Daredevil is dark.

Dark was quite good. Even though they did a voice over instead of subtitles and it’s quite odd.

when i watched it it was subtitles - is there a setting in Netflix where you can choose one over the other? i think voice-over would distract me more than subtitles.

Did you continue Easy? Thoughts?

short shows a plus.
Just hit and miss for me. The subjects may be too young for me to relate, but I rarely feel that is a reason I may not care for something.
A few fun blasts from the big screen past I found amusing.
Enjoyed it was set in Chicago area.

Agreed on Godless.

I never changed any settings. Just came up that way. I have watched other shows with subtitles so not entirely sure.

And the voice over was bad. Some parts didn’t make sense etc.

3 episodes in to Peaky Blinders new season. Such a great show.

The show always kind of mirrored The Godfather in many ways -- this season you get Adrian Brody doing his best Vito Corleone impression. Still good stuff, though.

End of episode 12- Holy shit

Just watched Bright. Not bad ,totally a Shadowrun inspired movie. Little too narrow. You do not get a full immersion into the world it is set in.

Started the series 13 Reasons Why this morning. I thought it was an ok pilot episode and will see it through. Certainly an interesting
premise for a show and I have heard the music is pretty decent in it as well.

Whoever recommended The Crown is a Caller Bob, wasted 2.5 hours on 3 episodes .. Fucking awful.

One of the best shows on television. Won the Golden Globe season one for best show. Not surprised you don't like it, you're basically half a genius.

It's the Lonzo Ball of Netflix, all hype no payoff..I'm sensing a pattern here.

Saw The Meyerowitz Stories recently. Great movie with Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, and Emma Thompson. Sandler is really good in these roles as opposed to his other hacky silly stuff.

Has Travellers started Season 2 yet, or is that next month?

I binge-watched Season 1 one cold weekend in NC with my then-GF who was into sci-fi and had Netflix. I'm not much of a sci-fi person, but I liked it.
