Bane was fucking awesome (which is why yiu cant turn it off) and Ledger (dont do it) was great but not as great as advertised

Anyway, you and I have very similar tastes in movies. You probably love Gung Ho with Michael Keaton like I do.

I haven't watched Gung Ho in 30 years. I did love Mr. Mom back in the day. Teri Garr. Grrrrrr. Also, I love Michael Keaton and the original Batmans.

Bane was fine. Didn't have an issue. But I don't watch because of Bane. I enjoyed the hero redemption story, the sacrifice, and the secret life aspects. Pretty cool.

Ledger's The Joker was amazing and the best thing of the entire trilogy.

I submit that his acting for that part was one of the best acting jobs in movie history. Sure, you could find some great performances, but he literally took that character to another level. The visuals, the dialogue, it was all great. I love the scene where he kills one of his own henchmen, and looks at the two black guys, breaks a pool stick in half, and tells them there's only one job opening.

I think it's hard to reinvent a character, the joker, that we all know so well and has been done many times. And yet he did it.

They presented it like he was just a super intelligent badass with a vendetta.

There was no hint at all of anything supernatural other than the far fetched nature of his acts. But that's not enough to assume superpowers. If that were the case them 80% of action star characters would have superpowers
