I guess you have Sulu and Pike and George Kirk, and the guy before George took over.

I like Picard a lot but if you placed him in Archers shoes the Federation would have died on the vine, no balls to do the hard stuff like Archer or even Kirk had to do. Same with Sisko, even though he is from the same era as Picard he has the courage to do the things that Picard would have curled into a ball crying for Troi.

I wouldn't blame him.

I don't have time to get into this now. But I will.

This thread is full of horrible thoughts. Archer?

I know from your podcast you are watching DS9. What season are you in at this point? Seasons 4-6 of that show are the best works ever produced within the Star Trek franchise. Even 7 is good, just not at the level of the preceding seasons.

I'm through most of 5. It's gotten very good.

I still can't handle when Sisko gets into his song-songy quasi-British mode though. But I like him.

I'm always amazed Patrick Stewart had nothing better to do than TNG and that they actually hired him. I also enjoy the story of them making him audition in a wig once.

He was giving a lecture at some small college in California and Berman heard him from the hallway and asked "who is that guy?"

It's disturbing how they always have Hu-Man women stroking a Ferengi's ear to make them do something.

It's the TV-acceptable way of showing a hand-job.

Still chuckling over Brockmire's Willy Wonka hand job comment last night. I may use that a few times around here.
