I rented this and there were scenes I don't remember seeing at all. Was there some director's cut or special edition that came out w/ deleted scenes? Great movie but there's a reason why scenes get cut out of a movie. Some of these lasted too long and sort of messed up the flow.

You copied and pasted the definition of pussy in an obscure localized 90s era message board. I won't forget this.

Did you try reading the description?

You haven’t seen it in a while right? It’s a 2 and a half hour movie. You’re going to forget a couple scenes.

All you people can't you see, can't you see
How your love's affecting our reality
Every time we're down
You can make it right
And that makes you larger than life

With all the events and information that has come out since the movie premiered in 1990, they could have easily come out with a sequel. The Boston points shaving thing is an entire movie in and of itself. Henry Hill was a major screw up before, during and after WITSEC.

At the end of the movie he is picking up the newspaper off the porch joking about egg noodles and ketchup. He was in Nebraska at the time and had to bug out because Jimmy Burke found out where he was and was sending a hit team after them.

Henry and Karen were relocated to Seattle and that was a disaster. Hill got back into the drug business, started bragging about who he really was and the Lufthansa heist, etc. DEA finally arrested the outfit he was running with and the FBI kicked him out of the witness protection program.

For once, chas is not completely wrong....it's based on Henry Hill's life, not really a sequel. Mitch Pleggi's wife wrote it....with a lot of creative liberty...

Yep - I was making a lengthy reply and got logged off. I definitely see the parallels for sure. Thanks, guys.

I was speaking to the original Hill story as a whole for a sequel. The movie was released in 1990 and a ton of more info has come out that could not be addressed at that time due to ongoing investigations and wiretaps, etc.

According to sources and authorities close to the case/investigation, Karen and Paulie had an affair while Henry was still in prison. Tommy thought he could get in on the action and made unwanted advances on Karen. It turned violent and there was talk of a possible rape. Paulie was furious with Tommy.

In turn, Paul, a major Lucchese Capo, let the Gambinos know Tommy was the guy who killed Billy Batts. Word is that John Gotti was waiting to whack Tommy at his "making ceremony".

If Paul knew that Jimmy Burke was involved, which he probably did, he wasn't going to let anything ruin his golden goose. Burke kicked up A LOT of money to Paulie's crew. Remember, only $1 million of the $6 million scored on the Lufthansa heist was ever accounted for. Tommy was the problem not Jimmy. Problem solved.
