Watched this last night with my wife and it was a very, very good movie. Essentially the true story about a young boy in India
who falls asleep on a train in the mid-80s and when he is finally able to get out of it he is 1600kms from home. He is not able
to speak the local language and is sent to an orphanage, eventually adopted by a family in Australia. When he grows up he is
determined to go back to try to find his real family. Great acting and story telling and a heart wrenching tale. I freely admit
that I shed some tears at the end as I am a sucker for true stories that are well done. I don't think it was robbed of any awards
although it was nominated for 6 Oscars this year but easily one of the best 5-6 movies I saw all year.

They unnecessarily included too many side plots regarding the dude's personal story. Am thinking of his brother and his Aussie mom's struggles with his brother's issues. Wasn't really needed. Maybe they could have used that screen time to further explore the dude's mindset.

Great movie. India is such a shithole.
