Load people up with debt as they start their lives, offer them increasingly shitty entry-level jobs or "gig" employment, and you are surprises they they don't want to or can't pay for anything?

The best is when guys bitch about "millennials" on Facebook apparently unaware that a millennial is profiting off you sharing banal thoughts on millennials on a platform created by a millennial. The ironing be delicious.

Well, be prepared for netflix to restrict account sharing I guess.... will be funny to see people try and complain about that being taken away.

Maybe it goes back all the way to Napster but I do not think this is always a being cheap issue. There seems to be a modern belief that with more and more technology people should try to "get" stuff in creative ways.

My thought it isn't the cost as much as some sort of challenge or other thought process.

I agree. Many people started to think that because they could download/pirate (yarr...) music and movies from Napster, LimeWire, or Morpheus that they shouldn't have to pay for them any more.

Heck, I use my parents' Netflix account. They in turn use my HBO Now account.

In the case of Netflix, they tacitly encourage sharing of accounts with the way they have it set up with multiple users under a single profile.

91-92 me resembles that remark. Moved into apartment on Ridge and plugged in tv. Cable was there siphoning off neighbors apparently. Never did say boo when cable company called asking if we were interested in hooking up. I'm pretty sure any college age kid of any year takes what they can get for free.

I like to give the young guys some grief when they start talking about their "nextbox" or whatever they are bragging about stealing content from the Net. I'll ask just what part of their theft they think our employer is appreciating: the boldness or the the subterfuge. Or, I'll ask for an account number, so I can steal some of their stuff, since it is OBVIOUSLY okay...Especially when a supervisor chimes in about his illegal setup, then I just love to ask about INTEGRITY, or ask if there is any way I can help them survive on their measly $200K salary...

Surprising to some there are some very rich people that still pirate software and other things. Seems they never have enough money to keep things legit.

I worked a summer once at a retail store. People driving mercedes and bmw's with their gucci purses were using food stamps to pay for their items. Rich people are the best scammers.

You don't get rich by writing a lot of checks.
