Game of Thrones is the best show on TV right now.

I love BCS. But it is slow and not as clever as BB. BCS is a great character study but it is taking its sweet time to get where it is going. And I'm OK with that but it lacks that intangible element.

BB moved at a very slow pace at first too. We don't even meet Saul until close to the end of the second season. I disagree on the cleverness part. It's the same exact writing staff and they are better now than they used to be. BB has a more exciting plot, especially after the first two seasons, but I don't think it's more well written than BCS.

Game of Thrones peaked two seasons ago. It's still good but I think BCS is much better.

We can just go back and forth on this for a few pages and not change each other's minds. Or we can just start throwing hands.

Wait, I've seen you. BCS is better than Shakespeare.

I love the show.

I laugh. I cry. It's better than Cats.

It's just not better than Breaking Bad.

Bcs is decent, it's more popular than it should be from the millions of BB fans who yearn for more... It ain't all that great.

The Fades 1 and only season is currently free with Amazon prime

Terriers, however, costs $30 for the lone season. Fugg that noise. Torrents.

Watched a few minutes of an episode yesterday. Hank really slimmed down by the end of the show. He was a fat fuck in the beginning.

BCS moves at a slow pace. We don't even meat Gus till halfway through the 3rd season!

Saul is a minor character in BB, why does it matter if he didn't show up till season 2????

BCS is a good show, but its not even in the same class as BB. Not even close IMO.

Saul is a pretty major character in BB.

The only one that sticks out like a sore thumb is the fact that Mike, careful, methodical, Mike, would absolutely never trust Walt to bring him his Get Away Bag. Zero chance. Without thinking too much about it I'd say that's probably the most unrealistic part of the show.

Good subtopic but Id have to put the Magnets scene and the machine gun end as more unrealistic

The plane crash could never happen either. Airliners have TCAS ( traffic collision avoidance system) on them. This is a tool tied into the radar and it operates independent of air traffic control. If there appears to be an impending Collision one plane will get orders to climb, while the other gets orders to descend. By federal law the Pilots have to comply with TCAS over anything Air Traffic Control might say.

But thats a bit nit picky, as the crash really wasnt hugely vital to the overall plot.

Almost done with Season 1 of BCS. I agree, it's very slow, not as good as BB, but I'm enjoying a lot. My wife....she's just not buying into it. Fortunately, we don't watch much TV and there's nothing else that's taken it's place.

Mike's character in Season 1 is awesome.

i guess it's more appropriate to post about BB in a thread like this than BCS, but i have been able to really charge through the series now that the wife has gotten into it. all it took was a friend of hers raving about it and now she's into it. this makes it much easier to binge. i was at a snail's pace before, only getting through like 2 or 3 episodes total...

we just finished S2 E9, and we should be getting through a lot more coming up. i've been really enthralled. it's got a great breakneck pace sometimes and its main allure for me is just how far walt keeps taking his lies. although pretty much everyone in the show has their secrets, walt's are the most egregious.

there are also some huge laughs. in the episode we just finished, i howled at the part when walt's explaining what he needs to basically build a battery. but because jesse is such an airhead sometimes, his reply: "a robot?" was priceless.

i didn't see the turtle explosion coming but that was great. this show handles the gore really well.

and the two junkies with the poor little weasley kid was pretty hilarious too.

we are just getting into season 3 now so we just recently saw this ep. loved seeing john de lancie in a good role. he's a pretty heartbreaking character and he pulls it off extremely well. so far, my favorite one moment in the entire show is the bar scene between him and hank. it's just a very natural scene. made me want to have a beer with them.

apparently this crash was based on the 1986 Cerritos crash. that happened to be the crash that started the TCAS, i believe. also, the air traffic controller responsible was named...walter white.

One of my favorite scenes is when they have the assembly at school after the crash and Walt starts talking about how it's really not a big deal.

that was hilariously awkward. "look on the bright side." the reactions of the kids were pretty good. it was like a bad best man speech.

i guess i can be lumped in with the audience that disliked the killing of gale. i read up on it; apparently gilligan considered changing the ending so that it turns out gale lives because of the response. he didn't change it.

i don't like when writers do this. i get that he wanted to tug the heartstrings and maybe make you care or at least pity a character that is laid to waste. but this guy was just too innocent. hire an actor who doesn't look so damn vulnerable. same kind of reaction i had in "mr. robot" when elliot crushes bill's spirit.

so you can tell i'm through season 3. that was a bumpy one. there were some things i didn't really like...such as...most of the characters.

season 4, i'm sure, will be quite a ride.

I'm jealous you've not experienced it before..it's great ..it only gets better til the climax... It's a no doubter GOAT series.

Wire is better but yeah this is basically as good as the medium gets. Season 3 especially.

No there isn't.

There is. Gilligan is in the Jordan second three peat stage of his career now. I absolutely cannot wait for season 4.
