Looks like we're in the same parenting cycle....though my youngest is nine, so I'm almost done with these films...they need more Gru, and less of the Minions.

But let us be real honest here: The best thing about these films is the milfs.

At the Orland Marcus, I'd say yes. These are first and second-rounders.

Going to give it a few weeks and take the oldest kid to see it...she's a little over 2, but obsessed with Minions.

So.....kids said no on the drive in. It would have been a 3 hour round trip from here.

Went to a theater here. Movie was not real good.

Drive-ins are fun. I'm not sure Galva is still open and after that it is a haul to anything remotely close to here. Miss living near Cascade in West Chicago. Went there a lot in the early 90's and akso late 70's and early 80's when my folks took me.

I can't wait for my kids to outgrow these movies however.

Not too good. More '80s jokes than kid jokes.

The first two were far better.

Agreed. Our 10 year old said "The first one is the best".

Already gave the no go to a few people who asked how it was.

I went to Cascade on Monday night. I like drive ins a couple of times per year. However, this was a double feature of cartoons. I was bribing my kids not to want to go but no inducement worked.

I liked Despicable Me 3. Cars was ok but that franchise feels like a money grab at this point.

Took the 2 year old to see this on Monday. It was alright. Not great, but not the worst I've ever seen.
