I've had a couple of family members who shared second hand stories about slavery. I'll pass.

But I think it's needed and am hopeful an earnest story will follow.

Maybe it isn't appropriate here, but reading this thread reminded me of the saddness I felt (& Still feel)upon watching Vietnam vets coming home home to derision and indifference in 72 at Midway Airport

Not that i'm siding either way but "The Last Broadcast" was a satire, and "Blair Witch" was straight up horror. The former tried to file suit against the latter when it was released.

I think something similar may have happened with "Fables" (comic book) and "Once Upon a Time" and/or "Grimm".

I don't know what the filmmaker of "CSA" is up to these days but if they're aware, i wouldn't be surprised to see something like that.

personally, i think if they do it well, it could be a great series. it's just...already been done.
