Anyone in on this? Seems like a solid premise for a show but the reviews are disappointing. I'll still probably give it s try this weekend

Watched episode 1 this afternoon.

So the video he watches is of his wife and a lawyer screwing? Is that just a random event in the story or does it fit into the overall story?

The preacher has a bit of a resemblance to Eaglo.

I'm three episodes in. It's ok. Not a fan of the gray tiny or whatever the whole show is shot in and the writing seems to be weaker than most good shows too. i don't know if it's the actor or writing but the black FBI agent is a terrible character so far also. Hopefully it gets better

Got two episodes left and gonna try to reluctantly finish them tonight. I enjoyed some of the flashback episode but overall I've found this show pretty disappointing. Shoulda listened to Sepinwall

2-3 words is pretty limiting.

A family moves.

I finished up the last episode last night. I have enjoyed it. Now it is not even close to the level of Breaking Bad or even Better Call Saul, but I think it has been a good show. I have always liked Bateman and thought he was good as the main actor. I think he could really benefit from a sidekick like Walt had with Jesse in BB. I liked the dynamic of the Snell family and the Cartel. I liked Ruth and her development throughout the show. I am interested where that goes in the next season. I did not care for the gay FBI agent storyline and his fling with the Langmore guy. The preacher and his situation was meh.

I turned it off about halfway through episode 9. Not sure I'll even bother finishing it.

Got thru 5. First 2 were solid but now it's going downhill. Not terrible but ok. Without spoiling anything not sure why thy had to go with the 'hollywood' angle for the law enforcement. Bit of a stretch I thought butbwill see if it makes a difference in later episodes.

It is OK. I wouldn't blame anyone for missing it. On the other hand, if you have spare time to kill, you could do worse.

I'm curious to see if Rachel, the owner of the resort has any more to add to the story. It seemed like she and Marty were on the verge of something.

I would say there is no doubt she is going to be in the story for season two. Also think that is an easy storyline to write and one of the reasons this show ends up hitting on the OK scale and not the fantastic scale.

Got to episode 7 I think. I don't think I ever watched a show where I wanted the main characters to die a horrible death.

started out well, got annoying at the end. didnt like any of the characters. the feds were the worst actors. Only acting i liked was the guy who played Russ. Ending was stupid.

Laura Linney's character is so detestable, more so than even Skyler White was in the first 3 seasons of Breaking Bad, who probably didn't deserve the hate.

Started this last weekend and finished it Sunday. The first part of the season was pretty good. Then back half went totally flat. The ending totally sucked.

Yeah, the ending with the feds and cops hiding outside the hillbilly heroin house and not hearing a shotgun blast and 2 gunshots was lame. Definitely ran out of gas.

Spoilers...

You would think Marty has it made...Garcia and DelRio are dead and he’s got $50 mil in cash (minus what Rachel took). You’d think he could set up a nice life somewhere.

I thought it was decent overall. I have to suspend belief a bit for Bateman to be some kind of master criminal but there are a lot worse
things out there to watch.
