First guest is David Letterman... haven't watched it yet; waiting for wife to finish the World Of Dance so I can pop it on the TV.

If you like him, you'll like his interviews/shows. The constant berating of Adam Eget (even in the over the top skits) is very funny. This is season 3 starting, so there are a lot of past ones on there with plenty of comedic legends and Fred Stoller.

well it was quite boring. Paused it after 15 min. maybe let Norm be Norm and it will be funny. will watch it later. way too many close up shots too.

The closeups were annoying as hell. Someone said it was an homage to Tom Snyder's show, but I think that is BS. Someone else said it was for Dollar Shave Club to see how clean shaven they were. I also thought that was bad.

I know Letterman is McDonald's idol, so I will basically chalk this one up to a personal thing, but it really wasn't the best. Much better interviews in the archives.

Cool, this has been rumored to be in the can for months; despite Norm denying it on his twitter. which if you're not following Norm's twitter, he's a more than solid follow:

https://twitter.com/normmacdonald

live tweets golf tourneys and other sporting events that he wagers on. Sometimes drops awesome, late-night tweet-storm-stories, usually biographical, about growing up in Kanaydia, irrational fear of the terrorist the Jackal, days at SNL etc. The stories are almost always deleted the next day.

I watched the first 20 minutes and stopped it. What a boring conversation. They couldn't think of fun stuff to talk about?

Letterman is the same old Letterman. He's doing the Letterman act. But something is wrong with Norm. He's not his typical snide, quick wit self. He's slow speaking and he's not cracking wise. Like he had a stroke or something. Or maybe he was on drugs when they shot it. But he never really made an attempt to be funny during this. It was weird.

I thought it was good. Norm and Dave are each other's biggest fans. Close up shots were very weird.

Not sure what's up with Norm. Seems like he might be medicated. I know he quit smoking and I think he quit drinking also.

This started me down the rabbit hole on YouTube with Norm stuff. Just finished watching Norm at the Washington Press Corps dinner.

In all of the roasts, I don't think there has ever been anything funnier than that.

Agreed. I've seen it a dozen times and probably laugh more each time

That is why it is funny -- it is a collection of Milton Berle-esque jokes that aren't funny, they are so un-funny that the whole thing is an embarassing charade and it is so risky to do that, that it makes it even funnier.

Finished watching it. No doubt about it. Norm was on medication. He was slurring his words at times. Seemed like pills to me. Not pot or booze. He wasn't his sharp self. He was down right weird.

Yup. It kills me every time.

Norm on Twitter saying he's waiting for word on a new talk show. Awesome.
