Is that shot of the people cowering behind a large tree trunk a deliberate call-back to the original JP film when Dr. Grant saved the kids from the rumbling herd, only to miraculously find the clue that would be the key to understanding how the all-female dinos reproduced? Gotta be, no?

for some reason, i got a major kick out of "Jurassic World". i thought it was the best since the first JP. but i have a feeling that won't carry over into this.

Seems like a repeat of JP2.

I loved the first book and enjoyed the first movie. Since them... meh. The last movie was okay if not way predictable.

At this point, they all deserve to be eaten.

You can't really make this into a trilogy. It kinda only work with them being caged and escaping.

Very entertaining. Def went for the feels a lot more than the last one. Wife almost cried at one point.

Maybe the most obvious difference in these two movies is how much better of an actor Chris Pratt is. Idk of he'll ever live up to the Tom Hanks comparison Denzel spoke of, but he's developed more range for sure.

Hard to say if I liked this or the 1st JW better.

Meh.
I never cared about this franchise at all to begin with, and I really hated the kid in Jurassic World, so at least he wasn't in it.
But this one had a character even more obnoxious, actually 2 of them.
The jaded seen-it-all chick Dino vet, and the made-of-glass soy-boy racially vague IT dork.
Also didn't expect to see Jame Gumb in this movie.
We have MoviePass, so it was free, and I wouldn't have paid $10 to see it otherwise.

Rented it tonight. Chris Pratt is fun as usual. Could have done without Soyboy and Dinovet. Too many sub villians ie Toby Jones, BD Wong, and Ted Levine. Stupid ending. Ok let's endanger all the household pets, farm animals, horses and kids on the west coast
