The dumbest thing is the idea that Jamie is not the son of John. Sure he is not the biological son, but as someone who grew up with a step father, it is more about who raises you than your genes.

Beth is incomprehensibly annoying, but at least she has the distinction of being the first "Trumpian Tranny" in the history of pop culture. Best episode yet. Loved the scene at the dinner table when the environmental wench faced down the ranch chef. and got into it with Beth outside. Kudos to the writers on this one. When Beth spit out a tooth when eating afterwards, it was terrific.

I love the show and the linkage between the generations of the family. Costner knows how to paint a picture.

have you watched any of the bunk house tales they do in conjunction with the episodes. They're pretty good and Jimmy is in a lot of them. They talk about actually doing some of the "stunts" as well as rehearsing the fight scenes, the horse ejaculator stuff, etc.
