Nobody wants to see 3 old geezers chasing ghosts in wheelchairs for an entire movie. They will have limited roles, which should be fine. Hopefully they can finally get Rick Moranis out of retirement for this too.

I'm really hoping they do right by this movie.

Paul Rudd has made a good career of being there but not being there. I think he can be funny at times but I cannot think of any character he has portrayed that has ever had any lasting impact on me.

They are still able to speak. A stupid cameo is a waste. I want to see them driving the movie and delivering lines. The three remaining members can still bring it for a family comedy. They aren't being asked to drag a shop owner out of a store and lightly kick him in the head and upper body region.

Ghostbusters is at its heart a comedy and the trailers have shown little of it so I'm hoping they maintain some of that heart.

Although, the 1984 trailer didn't really show the comedic side of things either

I don't know how I feel about CGI Harold Ramis as Egon's ghost. On one hand this is a film that it doesn't bother me on because dead guy showing up as a ghost makes sense in the story and Ramis always wanted to make this 3rd Ghostbusters movie. However, it also pissed me off because it reminded me that the reason this movie was never made while hew as alive is that asshole Bill Murray. Seriously, fuck Bill Murray, he is a giant prick who got into the feud with Ramis and refused to bury the hatchet until Ramis was dying and it was too late for a collaboration. I kind of feel like people wouldn't love Bill so much if they realized how much of a douche he was to Harold.

Ghostbusters was the first movie where I thought, "wow, Hollywood kinda sucks". Just put 3 dump trucks worth of perfume on a pig, and you got a hit.
