Documentary on Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes. Thought it was an interesting story when I read about it and the documentary is equally interesting so far. Like halfway through it.

The Ian Gibbons part is pretty terrible.

Her voice is so fucking weird. Shoulda been an immediate red flag.

After watching the documentary and reading a bit, some of the descriptions of elizabeth holmes are hilarious.






There's flattering and not flattering pictures of her, im not good dolphin being extra critical, but she's objectively very average looking. I posted here what I consider to be about average for her available photos. It's odd to me just observationally how everyone decrying her privilege seems to be the same folks unnecessarily talking up her non-existent beauty.

I tried to watch it, was not terribly entertaining. I have however, watched a bunch of you tube stuff on her. One of her coworkers caught on tape, her real voice. She is a classic sociopath, that voice being lowered is 100% fake.

George Schulz's grandson was one of the heroes who blew the lid off of it. Schulz was on the board (as was Henry Kissinger and a bunch of other military guys who knew nothing about the industry) and his grandson worked at Theranos. The grandson knew the company was a sham and went to his grandfather for guidance, but insisted that their meeting be just the two of them, no one else. Schulz agreed.

So they met at a secluded location, and just when Schulz had convinced his grandson there was nothing shady, he brings in two Theranos lawyers from another room who asked the grandson to sign documents. Thankfully the grandson realized it was a setup and walked away...and then went to the WSJ reporter.

I'm not sure about that. The Asian woman who was featured as a whistleblower in the documentary is rather ordinary but still better looking than Holmes imo.
