I saw a bit of the Bob Hope episode and a roast of Mr. T and it was actually funny. It was more tame than the awful Comedy central celebrity roasts.

Late in life Rickles on Craig Ferguson's show was always a treat. Peter Lasally from the Carson show was Craig's EP and Rickles appreciated Craig's talent and ability to banter.
