The way they do ratings for the streaming shows is minutes watched so they try and drag them out as long as possible.

They still rush when they don’t have to, so dragging it out doesn’t cover that.

These shows are all pieced together in post-production per the article in Variety. They start shooting before scripts are finalized so they're constantly making changes then they just take everything they shot and stitch it together like a frankenstein in post. I imagine their editors are pretty inept but even a skilled editor would have difficulty making that cohesive.

I think it's just how most of these streaming seasons are. They order 8 episodes of a certain length. A lot of the time they have to fill some time because they can't go back and say "We only have 5 episodes".

It's like how a movie can somehow release a directors cut with an hour more of story later.

Unless its Echo where they shoot 8 episodes but have to trim it to 5 because it sucks so bad. :lol:

Echo...the show about a deaf girl with no legs got a mature rating. They should of done that with Moon Knight. That was the Disney+ show I was most disappointed in. That should have been good.
