I changed my mind. It's definitely American technology.
The smartest thing to do with tech this advanced would be to deny any involvement and call it alien. And why even tell the military you have it, when they can't do anything to intercept it?

i can see the two sides. it would make sense for the government to remain quiet-ish and let people think Area 51 is housing aliens and alien tech, all the while just developing their own crazy shit they dont want anyone to know about in the global community.

on the other hand, i listened to Cmdr. Fravor on his JRE episode, and thats not the kind of guy who calls the local news or police at 4am, drenched in whiskey claiming he saw little green men. Combined with all the seemingly legit captures from military aircraft, along with my own experience, i've been leaning toward some great unknowns hopefully being acknowledged and eventually revealed
