Anyone watching this? Watched the first episode last night. It was intriguing enough to keep watching later tonight.

Through 4 episodes. Its weird and frustrating at times, but I've liked it overall.

Never read the book.

Just finished episode 4. I like it a lot. What parts do you find frustrating?

The back and forth between timelines was annoying at first. The quirky for quirky sake Traveling Symphony annoyed me too.

 Thats fair.

Yeah I noticed this is not really a show you can watch while scrolling on your phone. It’s way too easy to miss key scenes with all the time jumping.

Episode 5 was a cool villian origin story.

Finished episode 5 and it did come around nicely.

They might’ve tipped their hand a little too much. Im terrible at picking up on clues on my own when watching shows and early in the episode even I was like oh shit thats who the son is.

I've seen comparisons to The Leftovers, but other than a significant portion of the world dying I don't really see it.

The other similarities are that each show has episodes that are essentially spotlight POV episodes for different characters.

Episode 1 is Jeevan
2 is Kirsten
3 is Miranda
5 is Clark

Caught up now. Episode 7 is great, and has one truly awesome, kinda hilarious scene that I definitely did not see coming

Midway through episode 6 and it's definitely getting good.

Episode 8 was really good and tied back into episode 5 nicely.

Episode 9 I'll reserve judgement on until after the finale, but on it's own it was strange. The episode wasn't bad, but the timing seemed odf unless it directly ties into the finale.

Kinda waiting to hear about whether you guys enjoy the finale to see if I go in this direction. I haven't found a good series I really like in a while.

Was going to watch until I saw it compared to The Leftovers.

Finale felt kind of rushed and pointless.

Some good moments, and the Miranda stuff was cool.

Not sure it would get a second season.

I don't think a second second was ever planned.

But yeah I didn't love the finale. It was fine. Got the Kirsten/Jeevan reunion. I just didn't care about Elizabeth/Tyler at all.

Was there something we were supposed to be seeing near the end when Clark says "What the fuck"? Or was it just the sight of all the kids in Tyler's cult?

I also thought Clark and Elizabeth knew who Kirsten was 2 episodes ago.

Fantastic show. Heavy, weird, brilliantly acted and directed.
