They’re starting filming the 2nd season this month supposedly. Who knew Serkis was such a good actor. Skarsgård’s speech and the end was great, that’s some award baiting stuff.

It’s by far the best of these series. Good acting, compelling plot, etc.

I read it’s already shot unless they are doing reshoots or something. I’d guess they are already cutting the next season together. I think they shoot all this stuff at one time since you have everyone together and it would suck if you have a main character die or something.

Good writing can really save you. A lot of shows would give one episode to all of those 3 show arcs and fail to build any tension. Making them 3 episode arcs really gives them a chance to open it all up. The risk is obviously if it’s written like shit you have 3 boring episodes and not 1.

For whatever Wikipedia is worth

Quote:
The second season is scheduled to begin filming in November 2022 and last until August 2023, with Gilroy anticipating a year for post-production as with the first season.[66] Episodes will once again be filmed in "blocks" of three episodes at a time, with each block moving the story a year closer to the events of Rogue One.[6] Gilroy stated he would not direct in the second season because of his commitments as showrunner.[36]

Never put together that Skarsgård is Captain Tupalov in Hunt for Red October. Also Andor totally would have iced the 2 guys in the control room, no way he lets them live.

This is discouraging news. I'd be surprised it would take 9 months to shoot but what do I know? Just don't understand why they would wait almost 2 years to finish the story. I guess we will see.

Kind of a slower episode until Luthen gets cornered. That was an awesome couple of minutes there. Ramping up for a pretty good finale and I sure hope it is longer than 45 minutes. I have to assume that all of our characters will be in pretty much one spot next week.

This should be a learning experience for Disney but Rise of Skywalker was supposed to be a learning experience and they didn't learn anything from that. People cancel Disney+ after a bunch of garbage shows then they make a good one and nobody is there to see it.

Interesting. You have to hope that people actually saw Rogue One. This show is so far outside the realm of the usual Star Wars film. I’m not sure people will watch something without mindless Stormtrooper battles and tons of action.

I don't really trust those clickbait sites, but it's probably not that far off. You'd think they'd do the first three episodes since that's the full story arc. Unless they want people to have to subscribe to finish it, but who's even adding services anymore?

A really good 1st half finale for Andor. I’m actually sad I won’t have this show to look forward to anymore. Going to be quite a while for them to shoot the second half and get it edited etc… I still can’t believe they didn’t just shoot it all but I suppose that would have been risky if it had been a critical flop. It’s already a ratings disappointment but that has nothing to do with the actual show. It’s been phenomenal

If you do happen to watch the finale make sure you watch until the end of the credits. The mystery of what they were building in the prison camp is revealed.

I saw it, what was it? Looked like a space station. I'm not a starwars guy..Andor was pretty damn good, better than all the new statwars movies and better than mandolorian.

It was original the Death Star. He was building the thing he eventually stole the plans for and also killed him.

Luna is a great actor, Narcos Mexico was great, very good acting. Wish they would have done a season 4 an continue the el chapo.
