I ran across this mockumentary series on netflix last night. It's pretty funny in an understated english humor way. Think of it like a Lucy Worsley meets Borat.

It's in half hour parts and I think anything more than that would become tedious. But its good for a half an hour of laughs.

She can be funny but it’s sometimes a little too close to Ali G. She’s damn cute though.

I did not laugh. I was semi amused when I was told that the greeks invented a kind of theater for stupid people, known as sports.

Like her humor, or humour, she's only semi-cute.

For some reason, she's been pimped as a recommendation by youtube in recent months; even tho it's all from 5+ years back.

re: Ali G, yeah, the Ali G similarities ("Me mate Paul", bastardizing words, mishearing what's said as something else prurient etc) seem blatant enough to be more like a tribute than a plain steal. She's essentially combined Samantha Bee's old Daily Show interviewing style with Ali G's.

I had a full on laugh at that one.

She had another one about theater that was really funny as well.

As bored as I often am in the winter, I still don’t have interest in most British tv shows. And nothing here has changed that. But I rarely watch most American tv shows so…

I enjoyed Monty Python but you had to sift through 98% trash to get to the Argument Office and the Dead Parrot.
