Clerks has to be up there as one of the most overrated films of all time. Not that it isn't enjoyable, but it has launched an undeserved career for smith and multiple horrible sequels/spinoffs. It's footprint is much bigger than it ever should have been.

forgot about Mallrats, another terrible movie by Kevin Smith.

Literally all his movies are copy cats of all his other movies. I think he's even recycling the same Star Wars monologues he used from earlier movies cause he forgot he already used em.

Whenever they are brought up I check them out and immediately feel depression. Then turn off the movie or clip.

Difficult to have a bad movie with Rickman and Hayek's cleavage. Alanis' cameo as God wasn't even that bad since it was the before times where gender swapping wasn't instantly met with woke/anti-woke screeching.

i dont get wet from anything those guys do but i respect them. its whatever. more power to them. if i learned they didnt get laid constantly because of their work i would hate them.
