the story reminds me of "bamboozled", and the book that it's based on also came out after spike lee's movie. it looks like another pandering type of movie. "bamboozled" was funny but it went on too long and the satire started to get muddled as it went on.

It was a solid movie. Not great, but I didn't fall asleep like when I saw Wonka either.
