Truth. Finneas is the one with the talent. Billie's older brother/producer/songwriter could've turned any mid Wednesday Adams wannabe into a pop star.

Reminds me of the Chambers Brothers, everyone thinks Larry was the ring-leader b/c Larry's the oldest and had served the most time before their New Jack days.

But in reality it was 5'5" Billy Joe/BJ, Larry's younger brother by a decade+. BJ was the first to figure out they could make more $$$ slangin' dope under the counter out of their east side storefront and BJ smart enough to let LE think Larry was the main guy--so when they got busted Larry got the longest sentence, the only Chambers Brother still locked up in Terre Haute, Larry Chambers; while BJ, who might've had the same initial sentence as Larry, was the first to get out (other than the one who died in prison before that, iirc).

Movies have never been more of a backwater in the 40+ years of my life than they are right now. I haven't seen most of these movies, and I don't even care. Television has all of the juice right now.

Does it though? I watch almost no tv. I was listening to some friends talk about shit they watched. It sounded mostly terrible. They aren't watching it with their family either. Same goes for all these goofy movies. Oppenheimer was fine and is Oscarish but a little of a dime a dozen Oscar movie. Barbie is in no way an Oscar movie and I haven't really heard of the rest or they just kind of suck.

I can't believe Pacino whipped out his dick during the Best Picture announcement.

i want to see oppenheimer. but i want to pay $0 dollars more than i currently do for streaming services... it's a long game for me. the movie will find me eventually
