i haven't really liked her for years now--that includes the books. we've probably discussed it in the book thread too.

emilia clarke has a really innocent face. when she tries to look cunning, she has "clueless dumb girl face". it doesn't really come off well.
she was perfect in the first season when she was the naive girl.

Varys has become really docile too. in the books, i always recoiled when he entered a scene. i feel that way more about baelish now. his scene with jon left me feeling...this is not the end. and that "you know nothing, jon snow" could bite him in the ass for fucking with littlefinger.

but varys shouldn't be trifled with threats, and he seemed actually scared of her. the guy has survived some major shit. i wouldn't think her scowl would even make him flutter.

i like the idea of the dragon queen. i think they should've cast someone who has more range.

also...not that i am complaining about the citadel scenes like some others. but...i think we've been grossed out enough. *scale* it back a little...

I thought Varys owned that scene. Basically, kill me but I know who I am.

That was my favorite scene of the episode. Dany came off well also.

I'm pretty sure everyone is hoping for Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion to ride dragons to kill Cersi, but I'm holding out hopes the writers give everyone a big middle finger. I still say this whole show ends with Littlefinger on the throne and the eunuch guy as his hand.

also count me in on team lannister. cersei has alwas been the most consistent character.

I think they'll definitely be opposed to eachother at the beginning. Dany is worried about Cersei. Jon doesn't give a fuck about that. He's going to try to convince her to forget about that and fight against the WW, she's gonna (at least initially) say no and tell him he needs to bring his army down and join her to fight Cersei
