Maybe they'll believe it, maybe they won't. But its worth a try and its the best plan unless you have a better plan that was never mentioned.

Sure, dany could go up north, but why would she drop her own war to go check out a rumor in the north?

It wasn't contrived, it clearly advanced the story and finally showed us there is something out there that can defeat dragons.


Cerci aleady has a dead dude acting as her bodyguard. Why does she need further proof?

Finally got to see this episode last night. It was difficult not reading this thread all day but I managed and enjoyed the episode. However, I do agree with most of the things you guys have noted about timeline, plot holes, etc. All accurate and fair comments.

Looks like next week's season finale episode includes a "Commission Meeting" with all the heads of the five families. I hope Davos taped a dragon glass dagger behind the pull chain commode for Jon Snow. :wink:

I wish they would have taken a bit more time & effort towards the overall writing and planning. It does seem like the press to end this this quickly is evident in the pace and quality of episodes.
